**Job Title:** Automotive Parts Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Parts Manager to join our team at Additional Resources.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in automotive parts and excellent management skills.

The salary for this role is £30,000 with an OTE of circa £33,000.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct team training on manufacturer-provided and in-house systems, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency.
  2. Take sales orders from customers both in person and over the phone, providing top-notch customer service.
  3. Control stock levels for vehicle parts and accessories, maintaining optimal inventory levels.
  4. Maintain an organized stock room, adhering to high standards of tidiness and organization.
  5. Raise invoices for sold parts, accurately recording transactions.
  6. Monitor stock levels and manage re-order processes for essential items, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  7. Track and report department KPIs, striving to exceed targets and drive business growth.
  8. Conduct sales forecasting and budgeting, making informed decisions to drive success.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Parts Manager or similar role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong technical awareness or understanding of cars and their parts, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Excellent organizational and management skills, able to lead and motivate a team.
  • Able to learn and utilize specialist computer-based systems, adapting to new technologies.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences, exceeding customer expectations.
