Job Title: Postdoctoral Research Associate, Part-time (Fixed Term - 16 months)

Grade: RU06

Salary: £17,710.50 to £19,502.50 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting Allowance

The University of Roehampton is seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our dynamic research team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of preference tools for young people in counselling and psychotherapy.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in research methods and administration, who thrives on delivering excellence and takes pride in their ability to multitask. The successful candidate will coordinate the design and delivery of a project to develop a preference tool based on the Cooper-Norcross Inventory of Preferences for use in counselling and psychotherapy with young people. The research project is funded by the BACP.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Managing project administration and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  2. Collaborating with colleagues to share ideas and contribute to the academic aims of the project.
  3. Contributing to the quality assurance and enhancement of the project.
  4. Working effectively with a range of stakeholders, including academics.
  5. Supporting collaborative research that has resulted in published work of high quality.
  6. Demonstrating a strong understanding of administration systems and leading/manage administrative issues.
  7. Exhibiting excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
