We are seeking a skilled Heavy Goods Vehicle Driver to join our Logistics Team at EVO. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that deliveries are made in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Loading and unloading vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensuring all relevant documentation is in place before departing the depot
- Using technology to obtain proof of deliveries
- Operating a Heavy Goods Vehicle in accordance with company policies and procedures
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of multi-drop deliveries and a strong knowledge of the surrounding geographical area. Additionally, they must have a good understanding of health and safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work and communicate as part of a team.
We are looking for a candidate with a flexible attitude to working hours and a willingness to do overtime where necessary. The candidate must also be physically fit, as all tasks will require a degree of walking, standing, lifting, or stretching. Some heavy lifting may be involved.
