Job Description

Quest Search & Selection is partnering with a leading luxury multi-brand retail business that prides itself on working with some of the world's largest, global branded and own-label beauty, fashion, and home companies.

The role of this Corporate Communication Manager - Retail is responsible for developing and implementing the company's corporate PR strategy within both external and internal communication policies. The role will report to the Senior PR & Communication Manager.

The key responsibilities of the Corporate Communication Manager - Retail include:

  • Collaborating with the Senior PR Manager to craft messaging for external communications and ensuring the successful delivery of corporate business announcements.
  • Confidently handling incoming inquiries from business and retail media.
  • Partnering with the communications team to plan and execute key business milestones, including company results.
  • Assisting in managing the Group's Communications Calendar and proactively identifying new opportunities for the executive team.
  • Working closely with relevant stakeholders to maintain a smooth flow of information (including financial results) throughout the organization.
  • Coordinating with the People team to align internal and external communication strategies.
  • Developing long-term communication strategies in partnership with external corporate PR advisors.
  • Developing and maintaining a well-established network of journalists and industry peers.

To be successful in this Corporate Communication Manager - Retail role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a PR or communications role at an officer, executive, or manager level.
  • Relevant agency or retail experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting the communication of financial results is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • A business-oriented mindset with a solid understanding of UK M&A and financial results (the business is listed on the stock exchange).
