About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading children's charity, The Children's Society, and make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people. As a Project Worker, you will be responsible for delivering individual and group support to young people, addressing a range of risky behaviors, including child sexual exploitation, trafficking, and aggressive behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver individual and group support to young people, addressing risky behaviors and promoting positive outcomes.
  • Work closely with colleagues and external agencies to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to supporting young people.
  • Develop and facilitate groups with young people, using a range of techniques and approaches to engage and motivate them.
  • Provide one-to-one support to young people, using a person-centered approach to address their individual needs and circumstances.
Requirements:
  • Substantial experience of working with vulnerable children and young people, either in a paid or unpaid capacity.
  • Experience of developing and facilitating groups with young people, using a range of techniques and approaches.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and partnership working.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with young people, colleagues, and external agencies.
