Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Holiday Inn Runcorn. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in supporting our chefs in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

As a Kitchen Assistant, your duties will include:

  • Dishwashing: You will be responsible for washing and sanitizing all dishes, pots, and pans, as well as loading the dishwasher.
  • Delivery Organisation: You will receive and organize deliveries, ensuring that all ingredients are stored correctly and easily accessible.
  • Storage Management: You will maintain a clean and organized storage area, ensuring that all ingredients are stored safely and efficiently.
  • Waste Removal: You will be responsible for emptying waste bins and disposing of waste promptly.
  • Basic Food Preparation: In busy periods, you may be asked to assist with basic food preparation tasks.
  • Material Collection: You will collect ingredients and materials for our chefs as needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Good physical fitness, as you will be on your feet for long periods and may need to lift heavy deliveries
  • Efficiency in a fast-paced environment and strong communication skills
  • The ability to follow instructions and be adaptable to meet the needs of both the company and our guests
