About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Matron to join our surgical ward team. As a key member of the ward, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

The successful candidate will have substantial clinical experience and NMC registration, with evidence of good leadership and interpersonal skills. A mentorship qualification and enhanced care experience are desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • To lead and manage the ward team, ensuring seamless delivery of patient care services.
  • To develop and implement effective strategies for improving patient outcomes and experiences.
  • To work closely with specialist nursing teams to ensure the highest standards of care.
What We Offer

A competitive annual salary of £45,000 - £60,000 (dependent on experience), plus access to a comprehensive benefits package, including flexible working opportunities, protected hours for health and wellbeing activities, and a fantastic annual leave allowance.
