We are seeking a skilled Hygiene Supervisor to join our team at Délifrance in Southall, West London. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our site.

Key responsibilities will include supervising daily operations, monitoring agency hours and approvals, and undertaking any other duties as required by the company. You will also be responsible for supervising the day-to-day pest control program, hygiene operatives, and the planning and delivery of customer audits/visits.

The ideal candidate will have experience in food environment, preferably food or similar manufacturing, and good understanding of health and safety requirements. You will also have the skills and sensitivity to effectively manage a multi-racial workforce and be able to demonstrate people management skills.

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000.00 p.a. and a bonus scheme. Additional benefits include company events, company pension, cycle to work scheme, life insurance, on-site parking, and sick pay.

Key skills and competencies required for this role include:

  • Experience in food environment, preferably food or similar manufacturing
  • Good understanding & able to demonstrate people management skill.
  • The skills and sensitivity to effectively manage a multi-racial work force.
  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements including the ability to understand and use of cleaning work instructions, procedures and safe systems of work
  • Knowledge of Hygiene/ cleaning and ability to handle chemicals and understand COSHH requirements .
  • Ability to work on his/her own and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility/adaptability e.g needs to be hands on when required and flexible in approach to work to meet demands
  • An ability to effectively prioritise a demanding workload to ensure that all KPIs are achieved.
  • Effective communication skill both verbal, written and leadership skills
  • Previous supervisory or team leader experience.
