About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Lecturer to join our team at The University of Manchester. As a Clinical Lecturer, you will be responsible for providing supervision, teaching, and other input into our Clinical Psychology Doctorate (ClinPsyD) programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision to students on the ClinPsyD programme, with a focus on enhancing their Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) skills development.
- Teach CBT and supervise ClinPsyD research projects as appropriate.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the CBT clinic, including supervising students and staff.
- Develop and implement CBT training programmes for students and staff.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the effective delivery of the ClinPsyD programme.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Lecturer who has expertise in CBT and professional accreditation as a CBT practitioner with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
Requirements:
- Expertise in CBT and professional accreditation as a CBT practitioner with the BABCP.
- Experience in teaching and supervising students on a Clinical Psychology Doctorate programme.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work on days that the CBT clinic is open (Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays).
