Clinical Haematologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Haematologist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Haematologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with haematological disorders, including those undergoing stem cell transplantation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical supervision to junior medical staff and contribute to the development of junior doctors.
- Participate in the delivery of high-quality patient care, including the management of haematological disorders and the conduct of stem cell transplantation.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Engage in research and publication activities, including the development of new treatments and therapies.
- Participate in teaching and education activities, including the supervision of junior doctors and the development of educational programs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
- Full and specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Wide experience in all aspects of haematology, including stem cell transplantation.
- Leadership experience at consultant level.
- Experience in day-to-day organisation of haematology services in a busy Teaching Hospital.
- Familiarity with information technology and general computer skills.
