Job Title: Primary Teacher - Nurture Specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Primary Teacher to join our team as a Nurture Specialist. The successful candidate will work with students aged 9-16 who have social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nurture lessons to KS2/KS3 aged pupils, bridging gaps in learning and building confidence and self-esteem.
- Manage children's behaviour during the school day and support their learning and participation in class.
- Encourage the development of social skills and support students' individual needs.
- Participate in team meetings and training programmes as an active member of a team.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable but not essential.
- KS1 and KS2 SEMH experience with the ability to work with KS3 and KS4 year groups.
- Not suitable for NQTs.
