Service Engineer (Field) Role

This is a great career opportunity for vehicle technicians looking to transition into a new industry, as the company will provide full training. You will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts in and around Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis
  • Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area
  • Complete comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment
  • Spares placed in van overnight
Requirements:
  • Plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment, automotive technicians/motor trade will also be suitable
  • Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject
  • IT literate

This role offers an excellent OTE through overtime and commission, with no stay away or extensive travel required. You will be part of a team of engineers, working together to provide top-notch service to our customers.
