Job Summary
As an Electronics Engineer at GE Aviation, you will be responsible for working on the development lifecycle of electronics products for aerospace systems. Your role will involve ensuring that electronics products are developed and verified to customer requirements, collaborating with engineers to deliver technical solutions to industry standards, and generating clear and complete documentation in line with standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Specify, design, test, and verify electronics products under supervision.
  2. Support requirements management throughout the product lifecycle to ensure compliance.
  3. Generate clear and complete documentation in line with standards and procedures under supervision.
  4. Collaborate within the Electronics sub-function to problem-solve and deliver project outcomes.
  5. Support preparation for technical design and verification reviews under supervision.
  6. Raise technical risks and issues and support with their analysis and resolution.

Requirements
  1. An Electronics Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
  2. Experience of producing conceptual electronic designs.
  3. Developing understanding of PCB design concepts.
  4. Understanding of electronic digital or analogue design.
  5. Ability to generate clear documentation under supervision.

Security Clearance
Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role. Please note that in the event that BPSS clearance cannot be obtained, you may not be eligible for the role and/or any offer of employment may be withdrawn on grounds of national security.
