About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Elgin, North Scotland. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and development of our corporate facilities electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake Preventative Planned Maintenance (PPM) tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our electrical systems.
  • Perform emergency lighting, RCD testing, microwave testing, and other electrical maintenance tasks as required.
  • Respond to work orders and provide first-line support for electrical issues.
  • Install plant and equipment, and repair or replace lighting sockets, switches, and other electrical equipment.
  • Assist and work with other team members as needed, including tasks such as putting up shelves, notice boards, minor joinery/plumbing works, unblocking toilets/drains, and smoke vent testing.

Requirements

  • Hold a 18th Edition Electrical Certificate, including the 2nd amendment.
  • Have a strong working knowledge of electrical systems and their maintenance requirements.
  • Experience in Hard Services Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive works.
  • Be able to work at height.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and working safely with equipment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Hold a full clean driving license.
