Family Safeguarding Specialist

About the Role:
HCRG Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Safeguarding Specialist to join our team in Somerset. As a key member of our Family Safeguarding Team, you will play a vital role in promoting the safety, wellbeing, and learning of children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective strategies to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
- Collaborate with multi-agency teams to provide comprehensive support to families and individuals.
- Conduct thorough assessments and risk assessments to identify areas of need and develop tailored support plans.
- Provide guidance and support to families and individuals to promote positive outcomes and empowerment.
- Work closely with other professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services and effective communication.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with a strong background in family safeguarding and child protection.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with families, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Flexibility to work in a hybrid model with a balance of office and home-based work.
