We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Proposal Engineer to join our team at Omega Resource Group.
The successful candidate will have experience in developing high-quality proposals and bids for customers in the engineering sector.
This role requires strong technical skills related to fluid systems products and the ability to understand customer technical application needs.
A competitive salary of £35,000 per annum is on offer, along with benefits such as 26 days holiday + Bank Holidays and 5% Employer pension contribution.
Key Responsibilities- Determine customer requirements on each enquiry and create accurate proposals and estimates to meet customer needs within agreed timescales.
- Support application engineers on complex system enquiries to generate a fully priced technical proposal following the company technical process.
- Work closely with Customers and Business Development Managers to deliver accurate proposals to satisfy project requirements.
- Due diligence of customer specifications and contractual requirements to ensure full SQS / ISO and legal compliance and to ensure all corporate policies are always adhered to.
- Manage relationships with customers and 3rd party suppliers to meet requirements of projects specifications and drawings and provide clear quotations to grow and secure profitable future business.
- Understanding and interpretation of customer and internal drawings and P&IDs to allow full pricing and development of a working solution.
- Work in conjunction with internal and external associates to meet customer expectations always ensuring the highest level of customer service.
- Experience in Internal sales, Estimating, or tender bid preparation.
- HND in an Engineering discipline.
- Technical skills related to fluid systems products.
- Ability to understand customer technical application needs and develop appropriate technical solutions.
