VM & POS Manager Job Description

The Original Factory Shop is seeking a skilled VM & POS Manager to join our Marketing team. As a key member of the team, you will support the Senior Brand & Omnichannel Manager in delivering the strategy, focusing on the customer journey within the store's local environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage relevant budget lines, including cost control and communication of underspends/overspends to the Line Manager.
  • Coach and train junior colleagues on various tasks and platforms.
  • Support with ad hoc duties within the team and department.
  • Collaborate with Commercial and Retail to create VM Guidelines, balancing commercial needs with VM/POS strategies.
  • Provide input into the VM & POS strategy, improving conversion.
  • Manage the POS & VM critical path, adhering to timings and keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Execute and deploy Windows, Posters, and POS 'Extras' to achieve clear signage in-store.
  • Oversee the execution of 'black and white' and General POS, responsible for the QC process.
  • Responsible for store communications regarding campaigns and changes to achieve store compliance.
  • Oversee POS delivery to stores, collection of POS deliveries, and storage in the office.
  • Work with the Retail team to appraise Store Guidance, ensuring maximum compliance.
  • Support the Senior Local Marketing Manager in reviewing the Local and in-store customer experience, using performance and customer insights to drive conversion.
  • Regularly review competitors to come up with new POS & VM initiatives.
  • Work with the print management agency to achieve cost efficiencies and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Experience in VM and window set up.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Creative flair and idea generation.
  • Experience in Point of Sale and retail visual, ideally in fashion and general merchandise.
  • Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understanding of customer journeys and interaction across multi-channel touchpoints.
