About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team at James Hall & Co. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in leading a team of retail professionals and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in developing a motivated and empowered team through a positive and innovative management style
  • Lead your team in providing outstanding customer service and driving sales
  • Develop and support colleagues through training and development programs
  • Manage store operations, including stock ordering and inventory control
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives and targets

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory or management experience in a retail environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation and procedures
