Welder Specialist

We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder to work on the welding of marine equipment using mild steel. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in MIG welding and a keen eye for detail, ensuring all welds meet high-quality standards.

• MIG welding of heavy gauge mild steel components for marine equipment.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings to complete welding projects.
• Ensuring welds are completed to the required specifications and deadlines.
• Conducting quality checks on all welds to ensure they meet industry standards.
• Maintaining and operating welding equipment and ensuring safe working practices.
• Working as part of a team to meet production targets and project timelines.

• Proven experience as a MIG Welder, particularly with heavy gauge materials.
• Strong understanding of mild steel welding and fabrication techniques.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and blueprints.
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to meeting deadlines.

This is a permanent position with a competitive pay rate of £14 - £15.50 per hour, depending on experience. The working hours are Monday to Thursday, 07:30 to 16:00, and Friday, 07:30 to 13:30. If you're a skilled Welder looking to join a professional and supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.
