Job Title: Plater Welder

Location: Kingswinford

Hours: 08:30-17:00 Monday – Friday

Par Rate: £15 to £17ph

 

A prominent leader in the manufacturing of tanks and storage vessels across Europe. Specializing in steel and stainless steel fabrication, including pressure vessels, air receivers, and silos.

 

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Plater to join our skilled team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in metal plating and fabrication. If you have a passion for precision and quality in metal work, we invite you to be part of our successful team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute plating tasks with precision on steel and stainless steel components.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to complete plating processes accurately.
  • Prepare and position metal components for plating.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure all plated components meet company and industry standards.
  • Maintain and operate plating equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Plater with a focus on steel and stainless steel.
  • Proficiency in metal plating techniques and processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing setting.
