As a Graduate CAD Technician, you will play a key role in the development of our company's built environment and deliver lasting change in the communities we work in. Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled CAD Technician to join our team as an apprentice. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in CAD software and technology, while working on real-world projects and collaborating with experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating a safe working environment on assigned projects
  • Participate in project BIM technical requirements
  • Develop the outline BEP into a Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP)
  • Lead project BIM workshops
  • Surveying duties using FARO scanner
  • Assist in asset layout during early design development
  • Supply chain engagement for engineering solutions
  • Installation techniques
  • Undertake Risk Assessments to aid with design
  • Assist the engineering team with TQ assessments

This role is available for a Summer 2025 start, with the possibility of an earlier start date to suit yourself and the business. As part of the apprenticeship programme, you will be expected to work in and around the location advertised, with the possibility for travelling to other projects and locations around the UK in the future.
