We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Support Worker to join our team in a children's service just outside of Paisley. The successful candidate will have flexible availability for our night shift rota and a strong commitment to providing a secure, safe, and supportive environment for our service users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work effectively as part of a team of child support workers to ensure the well-being and safety of our service users.
  • Provide 24-hour care to vulnerable young people, supporting them with early trauma and emotional behavioral difficulties.
  • Take service users out into the community, promoting their independence and social skills.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and work to National Care Standards.
  • Work to a flexible schedule, including night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 12 months of experience in UK-based Residential Childcare.
  • Flexibility in the roles undertaken and a strong commitment to our service users.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Registration under the PVG scheme and a full driving license.
  • Preferably, an SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
