Senior Solution Architect - Global Transactional Banking

As a Senior Solution Architect at SAP Fioneer GmbH, you will play a key role in driving transformation projects and shaping architectures for our clients in corporate transaction banking. With your deep understanding of cash management & payments processes and related technology, you will work closely with our customers to define suitable business solutions and architectures that improve their cash management & payments services.

With your in-depth process and solution expertise, you will be recognized as an expert in your field and collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders to advise them on the best solutions to their business requirements. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Translating complex business needs into well-defined solution designs and architectures that are technologically sound and based on SAP Fioneer products, such as Transactional Banking and Virtual Account Management.
  • Advising customers on the best possible use of SAP Fioneer products to ensure operational excellence, sustainable growth, and high-value capture.
  • Driving transformation in customer projects with a strong focus on solutions for banking software.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Excellent Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, Finance, Economics, Physics, Mathematics; MBA or PHD is a plus.
  • 7+ years of work experience in consulting, banks, and/or software companies; as an architect or overseeing/driving technology transformation within the banking sector.
  • Proven track record of successful project execution and collaborative product development in the area of commercial banking / corporate banking.
  • Deep expertise in corporate banking, in particular global transaction banking, cash management, and payments, and solid understanding of technology.
  • Experience with SAP products and/or SAP consulting – ideally in banking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. German is a plus.
