Job Title: Senior Neuropsychology Service Manager

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Neuropsychology Service Manager to lead our neuropsychology services at North Bristol NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have a postgraduate qualification in Clinical Psychology, training in clinical psychology to doctoral standard, and post-qualification training in Clinical Neuropsychology.

Main Duties:

  • Ensure the provision of safe and high-quality clinical neuropsychology services, working with other members of the Division to ensure effective and efficient delivery of services.
  • Liaise with the Clinical Director of Postgraduate Programs in Clinical Neuropsychology at NBT and the University of Bristol in relation to the delivery of education and professional training in Clinical Neuropsychology.
  • Be a member of the Neuroscience Division Board with responsibility for ensuring services are planned and managed in line with the Trust's strategic and financial plans.
  • Manage a team of around 20 staff within the neuropsychology department who deliver both clinical and academic services.

Requirements:

  • A postgraduate qualification in Clinical Psychology to doctoral level as recognised by the British Psychological Society and/or HCPC.
  • Training in clinical psychology to doctoral standard (or its equivalent for those trained before 1996), as accredited by the British Psychological Society.
  • Post-qualification training in Clinical Neuropsychology.
  • Experience of working with patients who have a diagnosis of a functional neurological disorder.
  • Significant supervised clinical practice including clinical neuropsychological assessment/rehabilitation of adults.
  • Experience of supervision of Assistant Psychologists or Trainee Psychologists.

Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum
