This exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated Clinical Neuropsychologist to contribute to our busy Neuropsychology department at Southmead Hospital, working closely with the University of Bristol Neuropsychology courses.

Your primary focus will be in the General Outpatients Neuropsychology service, where you will carry out comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for both diagnostic and treatment purposes. You will also engage in delivering brief interventions to address a diverse array of neurological conditions, including multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease, traumatic brain injury, hydrocephalus, and epilepsy.

You will form part of a cohesive team consisting of 13 Clinical Neuropsychologists/Psychologists and 8 Assistant Psychologists, operating within 5 key services: General Outpatients, Neurosurgery, Cognitive Disorders, Stroke, and Community Head Injury.

Main Duties:
  1. Foster strong relationships with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure that the neuropsychological aspects of care are addressed effectively.
  2. Receive regular supervision from a senior Clinical Neuropsychologist to maintain high standards of practice.
  3. Undertake Continuing Professional Development activities through collaborative peer supervision with colleagues in the Neuropsychology department.
  4. Evaluate your professional growth by mentoring Trainee Clinical Psychologists and participating in the department's academic collaboration with the University of Bristol.

Estimated Salary: Approximately £65,000 per annum, contingent upon experience.
