About the Role

This Behaviour Teaching Assistant position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to support students in a secondary school setting. As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support students with challenging behaviour and special educational needs
  • Assist teachers in the classroom, providing one-to-one and small group support
  • Develop and implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to achieve student outcomes

Requirements

  • Experience working with students with challenging behaviour and special educational needs
  • Strong behaviour management skills and ability to de-escalate conflicts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
