As a Registered Mental Health Nurse at Prometheus Safe and Secure, you will provide high-quality care to individuals with a variety of mental health conditions. Your primary focus will be on building strong therapeutic relationships with patients to help them manage their symptoms and overcome challenges.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and manage patient symptoms, providing evidence-based care to meet their needs.
  • Develop and maintain patient records, including care plans and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Logistics Manager and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing mental health difficulties during conveyance or therapeutic services.
  • Stay up-to-date with national and local policies on safeguarding children and adults, adhering to relevant guidelines.

Essential Criteria:

  • Current Valid NMC Pin.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
  • Proactive and positive self-starter.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Well-organised with good time management skills.
  • Valid Enhanced DBS or on the update service.
  • Currently working in a compliance-focused role.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Employment references for up to a 5-year period.
  • Candidate will need minimum 3 years UK employment history.
