About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Boiler Operations Specialist to join our team at Doncaster Royal Infirmary. As a key member of our Energy Centre team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our four boilers and combined heat and power plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain the boilers and heat exchangers to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and minor repair work on building services within the hospital site.
  • Provide flexible working arrangements to cover plant operation at all times, including working outside normal shifts and covering between shifts during periods of holidays and sickness.
  • Work closely with other boiler operatives to ensure seamless operation of the plant.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a building services or engineering environment.
  • Possession of NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Engineering.
  • City & Guilds Boiler Operatives Certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and prioritize tasks to meet the changing needs of the service delivery.
