About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Community Nurse to join our School Nursing team in Northampton. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children, young people, and their families.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with experience in community settings. You will be responsible for assessing children and young people's holistic health and wellbeing, partnership working, safeguarding, and promoting healthy lifestyles, emotional wellbeing, and growth and development.

You will work closely with other professionals, including Practice Assessors, Specialist School Nurses, Health Visitors, and Healthy Child Practitioners, to deliver a comprehensive service that meets the needs of our service users.

We are looking for a nurse who is flexible, adaptable, and able to work autonomously and as part of a team. You will be supported in your role by an administration hub that provides a single point of contact for the 0-19 service.
