Neighbourhood Support Specialist

Job Overview
A2Dominion is seeking an experienced Neighbourhood Officer to join our team in Winchester, Hampshire. This part-time role involves delivering front line customer facing services, working with vulnerable people and community groups, and excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage a designated portfolio of properties within assigned neighbourhoods, ensuring that all properties are well-maintained and comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
- Carry out and monitor regular estate inspections, tenancy audits, and ensure accurate records are maintained.
- Act as a point of contact for residents, responding promptly to queries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Work with diverse tenants who require extra support and refer them to appropriate support services.
- Attend and represent the organisation at court, external meetings, case conferences, forums, and evictions.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle for work use (essential).
- Experience of working with vulnerable people and community groups.
- Knowledge of housing law and housing management issues, welfare benefits, and financial inclusion (highly desirable).
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English (Grades A*- C).

- Estimated salary: £34,285 - £35,500 pro rata (depending on experience) + Generous Benefits.
