About this Role

This is a unique opportunity for a skilled Macro Rates Strategist to join our Fixed Income Desk strategy team. The successful candidate will provide proactive and bespoke trade ideas and background analysis for clients, focusing on G4 countries (US, EA, UK, JN). You will report directly to the head of FICC Strategy and be part of an intellectually curious and creative team covering Rates and FX products.

  • You will contribute to daily research activities, generating written research, idea generation, and trade pitches.
  • You will follow market-moving factors, including economic, political, regulatory, and debt issuance developments.
  • You will originate trade ideas and pitch them to sales, trading, and clients.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or STEM fields.
  • A strong understanding of macro-economic trends, market risk factors, and geopolitical developments.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, to articulate complex concepts and trading strategies.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with strong problem-solving skills.
