Job Description

In this role as a Nurse Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses in a prison healthcare setting. Your primary goal will be to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care while promoting a culture of safety and well-being within the team.

About the Role
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practice to improve patient care and reduce risk.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients across various healthcare settings.
  • Act as a mentor and educator to support the professional development of nurses within the team.
Required Qualifications and Experience
  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience as a Nurse Team Leader in a UK hospital environment within the last 3 years.
  • Statement of NMC Registration.
  • Degree/Diploma in Nursing.
