About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Operative Signalling Maintenance Specialist. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rail network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a small team to deliver safe and efficient maintenance of signalling and telecoms equipment
  • Develop and maintain technical skills across a range of manual, electrical, and digital equipment
  • Work outdoors in all conditions, including extreme weather and at night
  • Transport equipment and kit across challenging terrain
  • Provide lookout duties to ensure the safety of the team and the public
Requirements
  • Team-working and communication skills
  • Proactive planning and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and remain calm in challenging situations
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Valid driving licence (category B)
