Job Description:

Company Overview: Alexander Associates is a leading multi-disciplinary partnership in the UK, seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join their team in Bristol.

Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Structural Engineer to work on a variety of projects, including the preparation of structural designs, attending client and site meetings, and collaborating with external teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Prepare structural designs in all usual materials and for a variety of structural forms.
  • Client and Site Meetings: Attend client, design, and site meetings to ensure effective communication and project progress.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with external multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Education: MEng or BEng degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience in structural engineering.
  • Skills: Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, sound understanding of structural principles and fundamentals, strong attention to detail and presentation, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry Experience: Experience working in the construction industry.
  • Education: MEng or BEng degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
