Exciting Opportunity for a Structural Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our dynamic team at JP Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative engineering solutions across various construction sectors.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement structural designs and technical drawings for a range of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless project execution, leveraging cutting-edge software and tools to optimize results.
  3. Conduct site visits and surveys to identify and address potential issues, prioritizing safety and quality.
  4. Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying new skills and knowledge to drive innovation and excellence.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
  1. Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, with a preference for those working towards Chartered Status with the ICE or IStructE.
  2. Strong mathematical and numerical skills, with proficiency in 2D AutoCAD.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interpret and comprehend engineering plans and specifications.
  4. Advanced IT proficiency, with experience in industry-standard software and tools.
What We Offer:
  1. Competitive salary: £30,000.00-£55,000.00 per year (dependent on experience).
  2. Company pension scheme.
  3. Bonus scheme.
  4. 25 days holidays per year + Bank Holidays.
  5. Schedule: Monday to Friday.
