About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Trustee with expertise in finance to join our Board of Trustees. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the strategic direction of our organisation and ensuring our financial resources are used effectively to support our mission.



Key Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight and guidance on financial matters, ensuring the charity's financial resources are used efficiently and effectively
  • Contribute to the development of our strategic plan, aligning with our values and mission
  • Act as a member of our Finance Committee, providing expert advice and guidance on financial matters
  • Represent the charity at key functions, promoting our work and values


About You

We are looking for a Trustee with:



  • Substantial experience in finance, preferably in a large and complex organisation
  • Knowledge of charity finance, accounting, and governance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • A strong commitment to our values and mission, with the ability to work collaboratively with our team

As a Trustee, you will be required to attend Board meetings, Finance Committee meetings, and other relevant events. You will also be expected to devote time to reading and preparing for meetings, as well as participating in other Trustee activities as required.
