Job Opportunity:

Alexander Steele Recruitment is partnering with a leading food manufacturer to fill a key role in their NPD department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth transition of products from concept to market launch, working closely with various teams to meet deadlines and ensure quality and regulatory standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with operations and production teams to coordinate production trials and ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate pre-production and launch preparation, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery of products.
  • Work with technical, commercial, and operations teams to ensure products meet agreed specifications.
  • Ensure all samples are sent on time and in full, with accurate documentation and photographs.
  • Establish effective processes for full-scale production, working closely with the technical team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a similar role within a food manufacturing environment.
  • Food science degree or equivalent.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Food Safety and HACCP qualifications.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours to meet deadlines.
