About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Network Maintenance Specialist to join our Water Response team, working in the Don area on a full-time permanent contract. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in resolving customer issues, investigating problems, and implementing solutions that meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve customer issues promptly and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction and minimizing service disruptions.
  • Perform routine repairs and maintenance on water and wastewater network infrastructure, including plant, equipment, and vehicle checks.
  • Conduct accurate reports and measurements to track performance and productivity.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Participate in the standby rota for out-of-hours work, ensuring seamless service delivery.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong desire to contribute to team goals.
  • Basic IT skills, including proficiency in digital equipment and apps.
  • Excellent report writing skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • A full, clean driving license, with the ability to travel to sites in the Don and Aberdeen City area.
  • Desirable skills include experience with HGVs, 180/360 excavators, and cable avoidance tools, as well as an understanding of health and safety principles for site working or basic ground maintenance.
