Eating Disorder Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Eating Disorder Consultant to join our team at Priory Life Works. As an integral member of our multidisciplinary team, the successful candidate will provide clinical expertise, guidance, and support to clients, their families, and fellow staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat an outpatient population with eating disorders.
- Assess, treat, and oversee the care of inpatients within your specialty, holding regular patient reviews and ward rounds.
- Manage a substantive caseload of three inpatients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, dieticians, nurses, and advanced nurse practitioners.
- Engage in quality improvement and governance activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Expand your practice in alignment with Priory Life Works' prestigious reputation for excellence in eating disorder treatment.
- Network with professional colleagues and referral sources to promote the services offered by Priory Life Works.
- Maintain professional development and meet revalidation requirements to ensure ongoing expertise in eating disorder treatment.

Candidate Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- GMC registration with relevant specialist registration.
- Experience in mental health treatments and eating disorders.
- A strong understanding of clinical governance and regulatory frameworks.
- Successful completion of a DBS check, funded by Priory Life Works.
