Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head Chef in creating menus that meet the dietary needs of our residents
  • Prepare and cook high-quality, nutritious meals using fresh seasonal ingredients
  • Manage the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard
  • Work with residents to tailor menus to their individual needs and preferences

Requirements:
  • Hold City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent qualification in culinary arts
  • Experience in helping lead and inspire a team
  • Good understanding of nutrition and ability to create menus that cater to different dietary needs
  • Experience of working with fresh seasonal food and ability to create a warm and welcoming environment
  • Good understanding of HACCP and ability to maintain high standards of food safety
