Lead Health and Social Care Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Lead Health and Social Care Development Manager. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our learners by providing exceptional support and guidance throughout their journey.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of apprentices and diploma-only learners, supporting them to achieve their health and social care qualifications at Levels 2/3 or 4/5. This will involve conducting regular visits with learners, both remotely and face-to-face, to provide motivation, encouragement, and coaching to help them meet their qualification goals.
You will also be responsible for delivering effective teaching and learning sessions, adhering to Ofsted and Awarding Organisation requirements, and ensuring the timely submission and assessment of learner evidence. Additionally, you will carry out observations of learner practice in the workplace, support learners to achieve their maths and English Functional Skills, and promote and safeguard learner health and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities- Engaging with learners and employers on a monthly basis to secure commitment to programmes
- Drawing up and implementing effective teaching plans that cater to the needs of learners
- Conducting regular progress reviews to ensure learners are on track to meet their qualification goals
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to learners to help them overcome any challenges they may face
To be successful in this role, you will need to have current, extensive, and relevant vocational experience in adult/elderly health and social care, including dementia and learning disabilities at a senior carer level or above. You must also hold a health and social care qualification at Level 3 or 5, possess good English and maths skills, and have experience working in high-demand environments to targets and tight deadlines.
A strong communicator with excellent time management and organisational skills, you will be able to build relationships with key stakeholders and work autonomously. You must also have a reliable means of transportation, a broadband connection at home, and car insurance covered by business use. All business mileage and expenses will be covered by the company.
