The Opportunity

Leonardo offers a range of Apprenticeships from 2-4 years across various STEM and business routes, providing paid training and on-the-job learning to gain practical skills, experience, and knowledge for a successful career. We offer competitive entry salaries from £14,000 to £20,500 per annum and fully support academic learning through to qualifications, with salary increases as you progress.

About the Role

As a Project Management Degree Apprentice, you will work within Integrated Project Teams, gaining skills and knowledge to deliver complex projects, utilizing strong internal and external customer-facing skills. The role will introduce you to all aspects of Project Management, including team management, contract status reviews, risk management, lifecycle management, and financial management. You will engage in a series of placements within different functions or departments in the business to gain a rounded experience and set you up for a final placement in a Project Management role.

What You Will Study

You will study with one of our academic partners for completion of a BSc Honours degree in Project Management through a mixture of work-based learning, distance learning, and attendance at University. This will be achieved by completing the Project Management Apprenticeship standard (ST0411). On successful completion, you will be eligible to become a full member of the Association for Project Management (APM), the Chartered Body for the Profession.

Qualifications and Requirements

You must have (as a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • 3 x A Levels (A*- C) one of which must be English, Maths, or a Business-related subject
  • OR
  • An alternative Level 3 qualification, which must be a business-related subject
  • AND
  • GCSE (Grade 4 - 9 / A*- C) in Maths and English
