About the Position

We're recruiting a skilled Project Manager to join our Infrastructure, Development and Delivery department in Hewish. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile projects, drive innovation, and make a meaningful contribution to the UK energy network.


As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.


You'll have the chance to develop your expertise in commercial, contractual, and financial management, as well as contribute to the development of our company-wide policies and procedures.


Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of project proposals, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with engineers, procurement specialists, and commercial experts to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with National Grid's policies and procedures, and maintain accurate records.

Benefits Package

We're offering a competitive salary of £90,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to this, you'll receive:

  • A £3,000 bonus once you start on the programme.
  • 30 days holiday.
  • A £3,200 payment on successful completion of the programme.
  • Up to £240 per month accommodation allowance, and additional annual leave for when you move between placements plus assistance with moving personal belongings.
