We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for Statistics and Data Science to join our Department of Statistics within the School of Mathematics and/or the Leeds Institute for Data Analytics (LIDA).
As a Lecturer in Statistics, you will contribute to the University's research-led teaching and management of student education, playing a key role in developing outstanding graduates and scholars. You will be expected to take an active role in curriculum development, aligning with the Institutional-led Curriculum Redefined principles and practices, and support the development and delivery of online teaching.
With a PhD, or equivalent experience, in Statistics or Computing, or a closely related discipline, you will have a demonstrable ability to teach Statistics or Data Science. You will have an enthusiastic and innovative approach to all aspects of student education, good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to use technology effectively and innovatively in the preparation and delivery of blended learning material.
