Animal Healthcare Support Team Member

We're seeking a skilled Veterinary Care Assistant to support our Registered Veterinary Nurses in delivering exceptional patient care. This vital role involves assisting with various tasks in surgery and ward settings, ensuring that our hospital provides the highest quality care.
About the PositionThis full-time position consists of 40 hours per week, divided into five 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute unpaid break each day. Shifts are scheduled on a rota between 07:00 and 20:30, typically following a consistent weekly pattern. You'll work one in every six weekends, with time off in lieu provided, and cover two bank holidays per year.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting patient care in surgery and ward settings
- Assisting with tasks such as walking, feeding, and kennel cleaning
We're looking for a candidate with experience in animal care or handling, ideally complemented by relevant Animal Care qualifications. Flexibility to work additional hours when needed is essential.
