Job Title: Behaviour Mentor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Behaviour Mentor to join our team at Academics Ltd. The successful candidate will work closely with a SEN student with challenging behaviour, providing individualised support and guidance to help them overcome their emotional and social difficulties.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position, working 5 days a week, with a focus on developing the skills and confidence of our SEN student. The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEMH students and a strong understanding of the importance of creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualised support and guidance to the SEN student, helping them to develop emotional regulation skills and manage challenging behaviour.
  • Work closely with the Inclusion Manager to develop and implement behaviour plans and strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting the well-being and success of all students.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with SEMH students and a strong understanding of SEMH principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of the student and the school.
