Teacher in Charge Position

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as Teacher in Charge. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to and enhance the different provisions offered by the PRU and to further develop your leadership skills and consolidate your excellent behaviour management.
The role will be based at our PRU site in High Wycombe, with travel between the sites as needed. You will be supported by other members of the senior leadership team, with a bespoke induction programme to suit your experience and background.
As Teacher in Charge, you will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day site management, leading and managing the team based at your site to deliver both inreach and outreach interventions, and for developing effective relationships with colleagues in mainstream schools.
You will also have opportunities to provide training and advice to colleagues in mainstream schools with their own behaviour management policies and strategies as part of the services commissioned from the PRU by the local authority.
We have high expectations of our pupils, and as Teacher in Charge, you will need to be able to challenge and support classroom colleagues to build the curriculum around pupils and their needs.
