Theatre Practitioner - Orthopaedics

Location: North Downs Hospital, Caterham

Job Type: Full-Time, 37.5 Hours

About the Role:

This exciting opportunity is for an experienced Operating Department Practitioner to join our Theatre team at North Downs Hospital in Caterham. As an Orthopaedic Scrub ODP, you will play a crucial role in supporting our surgical teams in delivering high-quality care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support surgical teams in delivering high-quality care to patients
  2. Operate with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment
  3. Access training and development opportunities through the Ramsay Academy

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions
  • Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligaments
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • A warm, considerate, and empathetic character
