Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to lead our expanding team of surveyors, estimators, and buyers at Calibre Search, a leading SME Civil Engineering Contractor.
- Contract Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of NEC contracts to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Commercial Support: Provide strategic commercial support to the business, ensuring all projects achieve their full commercial potential.
- Project Governance: Assume commercial responsibility for the day-to-day performance and governance of key and high-profile projects and clients.
- Valuation Management: Maximize monthly valuations and variation valuations, ensuring timely submission and managing assessment and approval processes.
- Reporting and Presentations: Prepare and present comprehensive reports to the Senior Management Team.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of 2 Surveyors, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Tender Involvement: Collaborate with the tender team to drive commercial success.
- Project Management: Oversee commercial management of projects and packages up to £5 million.
