About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Contract Supervisor to join our team at the Round Green Farm in York. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-specification service delivery and maintaining the beauty and integrity of this historic park.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of grounds maintenance professionals to deliver high-quality services.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to ensure the park's beauty and integrity are maintained.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor and report on team performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader, Supervisor or equivalent, with a proven track record in horticulture.
  • A professional attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Full clean UK Driving License and IT literacy are essential.
  • NVQ Horticulture Level 2/3 or equivalent experience would be desirable but not mandatory.
